Kim Kardashian's Skims to dress US athletes at the Olympics

im Kardashian's clothing company, Skims, will provide the official undergarments, loungewear and sleepwear of the United States Olympic team at the Games in Tokyo.

Kardashian made the announcement via her social media on Monday.

She said the relationship with the Olympics is a full-circle moment since she spent many years on the sidelines supporting her stepdad Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner, who is a former Olympian.

"Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied. I traveled w my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir," she wrote.

"When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA 🇺🇸, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle." Skims will release the items that athletes are wearing in Tokyo as a capsule collection on its website from July 12.

Skims joins Team USA's longtime partners Nike and Ralph Lauren as official clothing providers for the Tokyo Olympics.
