With another Easter season coming up during the pandemic, D’Music has got the at-home entertainment plan on lock. Concerts are happening across the Caribbean, which means that there’s something engaging for everyone no matter what level of lockdown (or freedom) you might have.
“We’re always looking to bring world class entertainment to our customers, especially now when so many are still under restrictions as a result of the pandemic. Even for those who aren’t under strict lockdowns, the regular Easter weekend activities can’t take place, so we’ve invested in musical concerts so that people can enjoy some quality entertainment with loved ones, while spending time at home,” said Tari Lovell, Digicel Group’s Head of Marketing - Digital Services.
Across the region, Caribbean gospel lovers can tune into D’Gospel Concert – Live in D’Music on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 6pm EST. With performances from notable musicians like Positive from Trinidad & Tobago, and Carlene Davis and Kevin Downswell from Jamaica, music fans have a lot to look forward to.
Some countries are also hosting local online performances to inspire and encourage over the Easter holiday period. Over in Jamaica, Digicel Unplugged - Gospel Edition will take place on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 at 6pm EST. The line-up will feature popular local gospel artists like Jermaine Edwards, Rondell Positive, Rhoda Isabella and Sherlon Russell.
Of course, each musician is looking forward to ministering to Jamaicans across D’Music, and Digicel Jamaica’s Facebook and Instagram pages, with Rhoda Isabella sharing on her Instagram that, “It’s looking to be a great blessing this weekend! Digicel Jamaica I’m super grateful for the opportunity to share alongside my brothers Rondell Positive, Jermaine Edwards and Sherlon Russell.”
And Suriname has got quite the musical line-up for their D’Music Easter Celebration on Saturday April 3, 2021 at 8pm EST. Performers like Raff Chanco, Merryl Malone, Felicia Lima, Laurence Gudge, Winston Archer, Prins Ganesh and the Inner Vision Band will be taking to the D’Music stage for a gospel concert to celebrate the season. Surinamese locals can also tune in on Digicel Suriname’s Facebook page.
Tari added, “For anyone already using the D’Music app, the concerts available in their countries are free to view, so we hope that music lovers will take advantage of this and make it part of their Easter celebrations. And for those who missed the excitement live, they can check D’Music, and later PlayGo, to watch it at their own leisure.”
The D’Music app is free for download in the Google Play and Apple App stores, and customers on a Digicel Prime Bundle have dedicated data allotted for the app, which means that their any use data remains unaffected when streaming with D’Music.
