Cardi B has become the first female rapper to score a Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The rapper made history with her debut single 'Bodak Yellow'.
The release has moved 10 million digital units to date qualifying it for Diamond status.
The RIAA confirmed on Instagram that she is the first female rapper to cop this single award.
The RIAA published its March list of albums and singles that achieved Gold and Platinum status.
"WAP", Cardi B's collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, has moved five million units as of March 3, qualifying it for 5x multi-platinum status.
And while fans anxiously await an album from Bajan superstar Rihanna, her 2006 release "SOS" has been rated 3x multi-platinum status as of March 1.
The song was released from her second studio album A Girl Like Me.
